What it is to be human
We look at how different aspects of us are all necessary and useful. We talk about communicating effectively and remaining open to what life brings. We also discuss how to handle personal and work-related challenges and setbacks, like COVID, climate change, and return to work.
Vulnerability is not a weakness, it is the capacity or susceptibility to being hurt. Every human will experience vulnerability at some point in their lives. The problem with being vulnerable is that it has the potential to open us up to getting hurt.
So why would we ever allow ourselves to be vulnerable then? Well, there are situations where vulnerability benefits us and is essential for experiencing some of the most human of emotions.
To make progress in life, it's not enough to simply 'think' yourself into a chosen career, situation, or relationship. It's imperative we take action as well. But how do we know what is the right action to take? We look at curiosity versus passion when deciding this.
